A high school student experiencing homelessness has landed a paid internship this summer where they can learn carpentry skills, photography, repurposing textiles and screen printing. This internship will not only give them work skills but also an opportunity to earn minimum wage! This student lives on their own and moves between shelters and staying on a friend’s couch; if you are able to help them get this bike, they will be have agency to get to their internship and start to rewrite their story! This is truly a remarkable and determined young man; thank you for considering this ask for a bike, helmet and lock.
