Helping kids with disabilities experience riding horses! It costs We Can Ride more than $150,000 to feed and care for our herd of 17 therapy horses every year. With the onset of Covid, we, like many non-profits, had to scale back on programming. We worked hard to minimize our costs to make up for lost program revenue, but no matter how many clients we are able to serve our horses require top-quality care. We are preparing for winter months when the horses require more hay to thrive in the cold, and need to make a large hay order. Each bale costs us $7 per bale plus delivery. Funding this project would cover hay for three of our therapy horses until Spring 2021. Everyone deserves to experience the fullness of life.
