In Metrey, Cambodia there is a school that has been built on top of the water due to lack of space and resources to build on the dry ground. 200 amazing kids wake up in the morning and some as young as 8 years old, paddle themselves through the very contaminated Tonle’ Sap lake, to board their floating school. This school provides the youth of the Metrey Floating Village access to education through 6th grade. These kids deserve access to clean and safe drinking water, especially while attending school. This is where Lift Up partnered with WateROAM to bring two of the best mobile water filtration systems to this floating school. Your funding brought two water filtration systems to Cambodia, allowing every kid attending school the ability to drink clean water every day at school.
