Project HOPE is actively shipping essential medicines and medical supplies to affected areas in Ukraine. The situation on the ground in Ukraine is urgent. Civilians and medical workers have already been killed in the conflict and at least one hospital has been hit. Project HOPE is mobilizing an emergency response team, medicines and medical supplies to respond to pressing health and humanitarian needs within Ukraine and among refugees in neighboring countries as the situation evolves.

As conflict intensifies inside Ukraine, Project HOPE is mobilizing a response with partners to address urgent health care needs for people most impacted by the crisis. With some 3 million people in Ukraine already in need of urgent humanitarian assistance even before the Russian military incursion, immediate medical support is needed to prevent the country from spiraling even deeper into a humanitarian crisis that could impact millions of people. Civilians and medical workers have already been killed in the first hours of conflict and the needs are expected to increase.
