This project is near and dear to the Saint Frank team. We’ve been working with the farmers of this region for over 10 years. The children of Burundi have captured our hearts and we hope to not let them down. Please join us in building a strong future for these children and their families. We have partnered with our friends at Long Miles Coffee Project to ensure that their exciting and generous coffee camp can be open to every child that wants it! It’s a good thing too because after our recent visit there registration for camp has more than doubled last year!! The summer coffee camp teaches children about food security, agronomy along with family and community values. It is capped off with an adventurous contest in which every participant wins school copy books with the chance to win even more prizes like math kits, school uniforms and school bags. Burundi is the poorest country in the world. A lack of access to simple paper copy books can be the difference to whether a child goes to school at all! We’re making it easy for you to make a difference sending a child to camp . . . and to school! Our ask is that you would join us in making a difference in Burundi and help us raise money to pay for school supplies for the children of this years coffee camp!
