Impact: 9 Staff (Serving 2,300 People)

Bringing needed electricity to the team of people who care for over 2,300 people on a daily basis! These 9 staff and volunteers are helping to provide medical care and an education to an enitire village. 2,300 people are impacted by these individuals who spend their days helping those in need. However, they need housing, and electricity is the support Espoir Congo needs. Their school is located 24 km outside Kinshasa in the bush, in a village called Kikimi, where there is no running water or electricity, except for very limited supply and difficult to access. That is why this project need is so important, because when these 3 solar panels are installed, the impact on the staff is going to change the lives of 2,300 kids and people in village in need of education and medial care. Our school provides quality education in French to 225 children. Last year, we drilled a bore well equipped with a solar pump to supply drinking water to the school and the village. This year, we are building housing for the staff and volunteers, which will help the staff save on transport and facilitate the overall oversight of the project. We would like to lift up this need equip this housing with 3 solar panels to supply needed electricity. Lift Up is a Non Profit Organization where we believe every donation makes a difference, which is why we maximize your gift by making sure 100% of your donation goes to those we Lift Up.
