Families are in need, change their entire day for $50!

Due to the catchment of the level 1 trauma center at Hennepin Healthcare and our proximity to Abbott Northwestern Hospital’s Heart Institute – we meet and serve patient families from North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. These families sometimes arrive with only the clothes on their back.

The mission of Firefighters For Healing is to support burn survivor patients and to help first responders pivot after a devastating injury or diagnosis. Qualifying families have access to emergency housing and gift cards for meals, clothing, gas and hotels in addition to a community of first responder families and loyal volunteers who want to help in any way they can.

Our one bedroom apartments are fully furnished and provide a full kitchen, in suite laundry, a living room, a TV and iPad, public access wifi, 24 hour security, concierge services and free underground parking. The bathroom is completely stocked with shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, shaving cream and razors, hair dryer, towels, and more. The kitchen has plates, utensils, pots and pans, a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, travel mugs, a coffee system and more. All laundry detergent and softener is provided. All linens, extra blankets and pillows are stored in each unit.
