2025 Burundi Coffee Kids Camp!
We are partnering with Long Miles Coffee Project to ensure that their exciting and life changing coffee camp can be open to every child that needs it! In Burundi, one of the poorest country in the world, lack of access to simple paper copy books can be the difference to whether a child goes to school at all! We’re making it easy for you to make a difference sending a child to camp . . . and to school!
The summer coffee camp teaches children about food security, agronomy along with family and community values. It is capped off with an adventurous contest in which every participant wins school copy books with the chance to win even more prizes like math kits, school uniforms and school bags.

In the last few years camp participation has grown from 2,000 children to an estimated 12,000 children! The impact and response in these communities has been tremendous, turning this rural region into the top performing region in education and reducing teen pregnancy by 80%!
We are seeking to raise $25,000 to secure materials and school supply prizes for the children. Each charitable contribution to our projects, whether from an individual or an organization, will quality for a tax-deduction from Lift Up, who gives 100% away to maximize impact for those who need it most.

As a community we have responded to disasters like the 2020 hurricane that ravaged Central America and completely destroyed one of our partner communities in Honduras. Together we raised over $100,000 to support displaced families and rebuild the Las Quebradas community on Santa Barbara mountain with Beneficio San Vicente. Each Summer since 2023 we have funded the Coffee Camp for Kids with Long Miles Coffee Project in Burundi that engages and builds community in the coffee lands while providing desperately needed school supplies to thousands of poverty stricken families literally with life changing impact.
Bonaventure Coffee Project was launched by Kevin Bohlin of Saint Frank Coffee in San Francisco, Benjamin Paz of Beneficio San Vicente in Honduras along with Lawrence Jarvey of Bridging Tables
These projects have been launched and operated by friends and partners with ties that go deeper than the decade-plus histories we share. They have also been vetted and approved by our 501c3 non-profit partners at Lift Up.
